Danielle Adams: A Trailblazer in Transportation Leadership
Danielle Adams, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for MacMillan-Piper, was recently sworn in as 2nd Vice President of the Transportation Club of Tacoma (TCT). With over 20 years of experience in the supply chain industry, Danielle’s deep expertise in container management, procurement, logistics, warehousing, and transportation management makes her an invaluable leader. Her strategic approach to business development and ability to navigate industry challenges have significantly contributed to the growth and success of our Pacific Northwest operations.
The Transportation Club of Tacoma (TCT), established in 1926, is committed to building bridges within the transportation industry while serving the Tacoma and Pierce County communities through charitable initiatives. The club facilitates critical industry discussions, networking opportunities, and community support efforts. TCT actively contributes to several organizations, including:

- Emergency Food Network Fundraiser
- Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital
- Matt Moskal, Stan Levy, and Anita Lydiard Scholarship Program
Through her role at TCT, Danielle is fostering meaningful industry connections while supporting charitable initiatives such as the Emergency Food Network Food Drive, which raised over $34,000 last December—equivalent to more than $386,000 worth of food for the community.

Kelly Dunham Cookson: Leading with Excellence
Kelly Dunham Cookson, Facility Manager at MacMillan-Piper, has joined the Board of Directors of the Transportation Club of Seattle (TCS). With over 25 years of experience in operations and supply chain management, Kelly brings a wealth of knowledge in regulatory compliance, industrial safety, facility maintenance planning, and contract management. Her ability to tackle challenges head-on makes her an essential leader in ensuring smooth facility operations at MacMillan-Piper.
The Transportation Club of Seattle (TCS) has been a key player in Seattle’s transportation community for over 114 years. Founded in 1910, the club promotes the study of transportation issues, encourages business networking, and sponsors educational programs. Similar to TCT, TCS hosts monthly lunch and learn meetings, organizes an annual golf tournament to support its Scholarship Fund, and actively supports non-profits such as the Salvation Army through its annual holiday auction.
Through her involvement with TCS, Kelly is actively contributing to industry advocacy and education. The club is also a member of the Logistics & Transportation Association of North America (LTNA), further strengthening its impact on the transportation sector.
